Terms and conditions

Panel Participation Agreement

By agreeing to participate as a panelist at GOM CON/GEEK OUT Anime Convention, hereafter referred to as "the Convention," panelists agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. 

Panel Content and Conduct

  1. Panelists are responsible for creating and presenting content that is appropriate for a diverse audience of anime enthusiasts.
  2. Age for intended audience should be expressly stated. NSFW content is okay, but attendees should know exactly what to expect when registering for a panel and its age appropriateness
  3. Panels must adhere to the Convention's guidelines regarding content, including but not limited to language, themes, and subject matter.
  4. Panelists must conduct themselves in a professional manner and refrain from engaging in behavior that may be deemed offensive, discriminatory, or disruptive.

Compliance with Convention Policies

  1. Panelists must comply with all Convention policies and guidelines, including those related to harassment, discrimination, and code of conduct.
  2. Panelists are expected to familiarize themselves with the Convention's policies and ensure that their panels adhere to these standards.

Timeliness and Preparedness

  1.  Panelists must arrive on time and adequately prepared for their scheduled panel sessions.
  2. Late arrivals or unpreparedness may result in the cancellation or rescheduling of the panel at the discretion of the Convention organizers.

Equipment and Technical Requirements

  1. Equipment included in the room are tables, 40 chairs, microphones, and overhead projector. 
  2. Panelists must provide any necessary equipment or materials for their panel presentations, including laptops, and other audiovisual aids.
  3. Technical requirements must be communicated to the Convention organizers in advance to ensure compatibility with the venue's facilities.

Intellectual Property Rights

  1.  Panelists retain all intellectual property rights to their panel content, including any materials or presentations created for the Convention.
  2. The Convention reserves the right to record, photograph, or livestream panel sessions for promotional or archival purposes with prior consent from panelists.

Compensation and Expenses:

  1. Panelists are not entitled to monetary compensation for their participation in the Convention.
  2. Any expenses incurred by panelists, including food, travel, accommodation, or materials, are the sole responsibility of the panelists and will not be reimbursed by the Convention.
  3. Panelists are entitled to 2 complimentary 3-Day badges

Termination of Agreement:

  1.  The Convention organizers reserve the right to terminate this agreement and remove panelists from their scheduled sessions for violations of these terms and conditions or for any other reason deemed necessary.
  2. In the event of termination, panelists will not be entitled to compensation or reimbursement for any expenses incurred.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1.  These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of The Bahamas, and any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in The Bahamas.


By participating as a panelist at GOM Convention, panelists acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions outlined by the Convention organizers.
